A Bíblia é a revelação de Deus à humanidade. Tudo que Deus tem para o homem e requer do homem, e tudo que o homem precisa saber espiritualmente da parte de Deus quanto à sua redenção, conduta cristã e felicidade eterna, está revelado na Bíblia. Deus não tem outra revelação escrita além da Bíblia. Tudo o que o homem tem a fazer é tomar o Livro e apropriar-se dele pela fé. O autor da Bíblia é Deus, seu real intérprete é o Espírito Santo, e seu tema central é o Senhor Jesus Cristo. O homem deve ler a Bíblia para ser sábio, crer na Bíblia para ser salvo, e praticar a Bíblia para ser santo.

Bible: Revelation enough

The Bible is God's revelation to humanity. Everything that God has for man and man's needs, and all that man needs to know spiritually from God as to its redemption, Christian conduct and eternal happiness, is revealed in the Bible. God has no written revelation beyond the Bible. All that man has to do is take the book and to appropriate it by faith. The author of the Bible is God, his real performer is the Holy Spirit, and its central theme is the Lord Jesus Christ. The man read the Bible to be wise, believe the Bible to be saved, and practice the Bible to be holy.
